Draw on film and add your voice — built for football
Coach's Eye made it easy to draw on a clip, talk over it and send it to an athlete. TechSmith retired it, and a lot of coaches are still looking for a replacement. If you coach football, ProPlayVision covers that same workflow — with tools built for the game.
TechSmith announced the retirement of Coach's Eye in 2021. It was a mobile app built around a simple idea: record or load a clip, slow it down, draw on it, record your voice, and share it.
That idea still works. ProPlayVision keeps the heart of it — draw on the clip, add your voice, send it — and builds it out for football: gap stamps, run fits, coverage zones, QB reads and player tracking, with a 3D perspective engine so drawings sit on the field.
One honest difference: Coach's Eye was a phone and tablet app built for individual technique in any sport. ProPlayVision runs in a web browser and is focused on football scheme and film. If you need slow-motion swing or form analysis for other sports, a dedicated video-analysis app may suit you better.| Coach's Eye (retired) | ProPlayVision | |
